Hi, I'm Erica Bennet. By day I'm
the owner of a music studio company and
the mother of like a billion foster girls.
But when duty calls, I transform into the
mega pop singing super hero Gwen, of Gwen and
the Candy Girls. Eat your heart out Madonna.
I was given these powers by a magical
platypus called Heartfull.

I'm a mascot.
GWEN
Only a few know my secret:
As GWEN talks about each of her friends, a montage of scenes of each girl is shown to accompany the dialogue.
GWEN
Rainbow Lite, who's mother abandoned her,
but that's okay because now she's the
leader of a group of super powered kids
who each represent a color of the rainbow.
RAINBOW LITE
I've got Rainbow POWER!!!!
GWEN
and Strawberry Cupcake also knows
my secret... but sometimes she forgets.
She lives in a magical place where
everything is made out of cakes
and fruit. Even the people.
The only person that doesn't know
about my secret though is my boyfriend
Roman. He thinks Gwen and Erica are two
seperate girls. He also likes
Gwen which really complicates things.
SCENE: GWEN'S BEDROOM
Everything is girly and pink. Heartfull sits on GWEN's bed as GWEN looks into the camera, still narrating.
HEARTFULL
You really should tell him.
I think it's so irresponsible
for you to have kept this masquerade
going on for so long. Who do you think
you are to be playing with his
feelings like that?...
GWEN
Sometimes Heartfull thinks he gives
me advice, but I never listen,
because he's just a magical platypus,
what does he know?
HEARTFULL
Who do you think you are?
This is not okay.
Are you listening to me?
Who are you talking to?
The doorbell rings.
GWEN
Oh, it's Roman. (to HEARTFULL) Erica Time Heartfull.
HEARTFULL
You are abusing power. You are abusing power!!
GWEN leaves the room as she transforms into ERICA.
SCENE: THE LIVING ROOM
ERICA answers the door. ROMAN enters through the door.
ERICA
Hi Roman.
ROMAN
Hi Erica, is Gwen here?
ERICA
Gwen?
ROMAN
Yeah. I need to talk to her about the
new lighting design for the tour.
ERICA
You can talk to me about it. I mean,
I am the owner of Sunshine Music.
ROMAN
But shouldn't Gwen decide?
It's her show right?
ERICA
Okay, I'll get her.
ROMAN
You can be in the meeting too.
ERICA
What?
ROMAN
You are the owner of the music company.
It's only fair. I wonder why
I didn't think of that sooner.
ERICA
Yes, I wonder why.
ERICA exits the LIVING ROOM.
SCENE: GWEN'S BEDROOM
HEARTFULL is still sitting on the bed. ERICA enters and closes the door behind her.
ERICA
Gwen Time Heartfull.
ERICA transforms into GWEN.
HEARTFULL
Tell him, or I will.
GWEN
He won't believe you. You're just
a platypus... with magical powers.
GWEN exits the room.
SCENE: THE LIVING ROOM
GWEN enters.
GWEN
Hi Roman.
ROMAN
Hi Gwen, you look beautiful.
GWEN
Really? Thanks. It's so good to hear that.
Isn't Erica, your girlfriend, beautiful too?
ROMAN
Yeah. So let's talk about your concert.
ROMAN and GWEN sit on the couch.
GWEN
Tell me more about Erica.
ROMAN
What?
GWEN
You say she's your girlfriend,
but you're always flirting with me.
ROMAN
I've got to be honest with you Gwen.
There's something about you
that I just can't resist.
It's like we've met before.
GWEN
Wow, really? You are so insightfull.
ROMAN
Thanks.
GWEN
I love you Roman.
ROMAN gets up.
ROMAN
What?
GWEN
Don't you love me?
GWEN gets up too.
ROMAN
I'm sorry, I'm so confused.
GWEN
Well maybe I should end your confusion.
Roman, I am Gwen.
ROMAN
I know.
GWEN
Oh, OH!!! Sorry. Erica Time Heartfull.
HEARTFULL appears behind the couch and transforms GWEN into ERICA.
ROMAN
What the...
ERICA
Roman, I am Gwen,
Gwen Time Heartfull.
HEARTFULL reappears and transforms ERICA back into GWEN.
ROMAN
All this time you were Gwen and
you never told me? You made a fool of me.
You deceived me. You lied to me.
GWEN
I can explain.
ROMAN
I hate deception and I despise liars.
I never want to see you again.
ROMAN kicks a potted plant to the ground and exits.

Gwen will be right back after these messages.

GWEN is joined by STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE and RAINBOW LITE. A bunch of pastries surround the female companions.
STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE
Oh Gwen, is that why you're bummed?
Well, have a Strawberry Cupcake!!!!
GWEN
Thanks Strawberry.
STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE
Things will get better. Things
always get better. Don't they Mr. Sun?
STRAWBERRY looks out the window, RAINBOW and GWEN look on at her, confused.
RAINBOW LITE
Have you spoken to him since?
GWEN
Spoken to him? It happened
seconds ago, right before
the commercial break.
RAINBOW LITE
What are you going to do?
GWEN
I don't know. He was my first
love. He's been there
for me since I was 10.
STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE
You mean: he's been
there for Erica.
RAINBOW LITE
Strawberry, it's all right,
it's just us, we know
that Gwen is really Erica.
STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE
Gwen's really Erica?
RAINBOW LITE
Are you even here?
STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE
More cupcakes!!!!
STRAWBERRY starts to cram more muffins in her mouth.
STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE
The way I see it,
there really is no issue.
RAINBOW LITE
No issue?
STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE
He loved you as Gwen AND Erica.
He loves you no matter what
you look like. It's all
about what's inside.
RAINBOW LITE
They kinda look the
same though.
STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE
He loves who you are,
not what you are.
RAINBOW LITE
But now he doesn't trust
her. She's been lying to him.
STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE
You need a cupcake.
RAINBOW LITE
You need a tranquilizer.
GWEN
Maybe I should create another persona
and he'll fall in love with that.
New Persona Time...
RAINBOW LITE

honest with him, about everything.

GWEN

GWEN takes out a bottle of wine.

Hours later. The girls are now relaxed due to being intoxicated.
RAINBOW LITE
So many colors.
GWEN
I see pink.
STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE
I feel fine.
GWEN
Can you believe I've never ever had
one glass of whatever this stuff is.
Real adults do, right?
RAINBOW LITE
I've been a child for a billion years.
STRAWBERRY CUPCAKE
I'm hungry all of a sudden.
RAINBOW LITE
You are always hungry and it's
never all of a sudden.
And you are always drama.
GWEN
I am not drama. And who are you
to talk princess? You on your rainbow
castle with all your rainbow friends
with their cute names
and technicolor ewoks.
RAINBOW LITE
So many colors.
CUT TO:
A few hours later. RAINBOW and STRAWBERRY are asleep. HEARTFULL tries to wake them up by tapping them with his beak. GWEN is now ERICA. A doorbell ring is heard. The sound hurts ERICA's head. She gets to the door.
CUT TO:
SCENE: FRONT OF THE HOUSE
ROMAN is at the door. ERICA joins him outside.
ERICA
Roman?
ROMAN
Erica?
HEARTFULL peaks his head out and transforms ERICA back into GWEN.
GWEN
I'm Gwen now. What are you doing here?
ROMAN
I needed to cool down.
GWEN
Where did you go?
ROMAN
Went for a walk. I don't want to fight,
and kick potted plants over.
I don't think I can be your road manager.
And I can't be Erica's boyfriend.
Or... your boyfriend. You know what I mean.
GWEN
No. You love me Roman. Even as another persona you love me.
ROMAN
I didn't love you Gwen.
I loved the fantasy you represented.
You're not even real.
I can't trust you anymore.
GWEN
Me...
HEARTFULL transforms GWEN back into ERICA.
ERICA
Or me?
ROMAN
Stop that. Neither of you
ERICA turns back into GWEN
ROMAN
and why do you keep turning back into Gwen.
GWEN
I like this look.
ROMAN
Goodbye Gwen.
ROMAN leaves, as GWEN stands by.
GWEN
Heartfull. I need a hug –
FADE TO BLACK
CUT TO:
Clips of the next episode, accompanied by voice overs by GWEN, STRAWBERRY and RAINBOW.
GWEN
Oh no, Roman has left me.
What am I going to do now?
I have a tour coming up and
I could really use his help.
RAINBOW LITE

GWEN
