Just for Fun - Grenade (cover)

A cute music video I made with me singing Grenade with auto-tune on. I might do this more often.

A few scenes with Aunt Esther:)

Since Snow White and Rose pays tribute to sitcoms of the past and present, I was thinking of using Aunt Esther's persona has a template for Helga when she is finally officially introduced.

Snow White and Rose - Episode 2

This was such a task to put together, but ultimately I like the result. I think it's cute and it pays homage to the 80's and 90's sitcom format.

I love that Traci Hines is letting me use her single "Fantasy" as the theme song. It really sets the mood of the series. Just like Traci Hines, these are modern girls in a fairy tale world.

I am so grateful for the new cast additions. My friend since High School, Joyce Dejesus, plays Goldilocks. My little sister plays Tootie, who is based off of the princess from "The Frog Prince."

She is not Tiana. For real.

Audition Songs

Can't decided between these two. Which should I choose as my audition song?

Characters that have Inspired Snow White (from "Snow White and Rose")

Currently working on the newest "Snow White and Rose" episode. The next episode after this one is going to be centered on the Snow White character, played to deadpan perfection by the awesome Amy Cheek. Here's a stroll through what has inspired that character.

There's also Jo from Facts of Life and Ethel from I Love Lucy, but I couldn't find any worthy videos. Thanks for reading and make sure you check me out here:

The One Legged Tin Soldier - Adapted from Han Christian Anderson

The toymaker created all the tin soldiers so they looked exactly the same. The only one that stood out among them was the last one. Not enough tin was available to complete him so he was left with only one leg.

Other than that, he was fine.

The tin soldiers stood on display in the great toy store; right in front of the huge window. Next to the soldiers was a beautiful panorama that resembled a lake. A glass ballerina stood in the center of the lake.

The lake was really a mirror.

One of the ballerina's legs stood high up in the air. So high up, that she appeared to be standing on one leg. This attracted the one legged soldier's attention immediately.

They looked at each other. They smiled. They were happy.

But the ballerina had another admirer. Not too far away, a jack kept safe in his box, awaiting for the right moment.

A gust of wind blew the huge window open. The jack sprung out of his box and pushed the one legged soldier out of the store window; onto the streets.

The ballerina stopped smiling.

The one legged soldier did not.

Water from a nearby sewage drain caught the one legged soldier. He was brought to the depths of the city's sewer;

...and eventually out into the ocean where a fish swallowed him.

While underwater - and in the belly of a giant fish - the one legged soldier never doubted for a moment that he would see his ballerina again.

It was really dark.

The longer he stayed in the fish, the stronger his loyalty to the ballerina grew.

He was in love.

The giant fish was later on captured by a fisherman, sold to a seafood market, and then bought by the toymaker.

The toymaker almost lost himself when he gutted the fish and the one legged soldier appeared.

After rinsing the one legged soldier thoroughly, the toymaker placed the one legged soldier in the mirror lake; to the ballerina.

She smiled again.

Angered at having been foiled, the jack again awaited in his box for the right moment. This time he had a more permanent plan in mind.

Not too far from the one legged soldier was a really hot furnace. As it started to heat up, the jack prepared himself.

He sprung again from his box and knocked the soldier, this time down onto the hot furnace.

The glass ballerina caught wind of the jack as well and followed not to far behind the one legged soldier.

She shattered into a million pieces.

The one legged soldier melted.

The toymaker later on found a strange heart shaped object on the furnace that appeared to be melted metal decorated with glass.

It shone as he held it up to the light.

Look at What Eduard Got at The Lego Store

This is a Lego Mini Fig of Little Red Riding Hood I obtained today.  Mark found her in the pile for me. I think she's real cute. I could probably use her as part of an Into the Woods project. I can't wait.
I also obtained this Lego Mini Fig that looks like Jem. Mark found this one too. She is so cute. I'm going to make a Jem tribute movie with this one.
And lookie here. This is a Lego Mini Fig that Nicholas got for me and I put the pink hair piece on it. Nicholas is cool. Real cool.
Nicholas is so cool, that he also got me a Lego Mini Fig that looks like myself. See, here's the Lego Version of me looking at the awesomeness of this totally 80's Lego Girl.
There's Lego Nicholas in the background. Nicholas also got me a Lego Mini Fig that looks like himself too. See, here's Lego Nicholas checking out Lego Ed. Oooooh.
Here's Lego Ed checking out Lego Ni.....

New Snow White and Rose

I had so much fun with Snow White and Rose that I'm doing more shorts with them. Special thanks goes out to Traci Hines for letting me use "Fantasy" as the theme song.

Also working on that Charlie's Angels Tribute done Lego style :-)

Filming and Future Projects

I've hit a bit of a snag with filming Snow White and Rose. Filming little tiny Lego pieces is proving difficult.

I did come up with a new way to speed up production tho when it comes to recording voices, but I want to get out this pilot episode first and work on another project.

I've been a huge Charlie's Angels fan from birth. I think it got canceled and then I was born. Take what you will from that.

I've been wanting to do a Charlie's Angels tribute for as long as I wanted to make short films and it finally might come together.

Other things I've been working on:

Grease 2 with a reworked script
Cats the Movie - Trailer
Spring Awakening with Sesame Street Puppets

Snow White and Rose - Pilot Episode Redux

Okay, with all the voices recorded for the pilot episode I have decided that instead of using plastic dolls for the characters I will use plastic bricks instead.

Because everyone loves Legos ;-)
